It is always such a pleasure to offer these "welcomes" to new visitors!

When I post these little notes, it is with a mind to make our site welcoming; and the first way to try and do that is to say "welcome" to everyone who takes the time to come here.

It's an interesting question - what evokes our feelings of being genuinely welcome. Being welcome seems an instinctual, intuitional recognition, an inward understanding of an honest expression that our presence is appreciated - that we count. We all know it when we feel it; and we are rarely in error.

So I hope that saying "welcome" to every person who stops by here, is an evident expression that your presence is recognized and appreciated - no matter how invisible you and I may seem, here.
